Aldon is having a great year. He is on pace to surpass last year sac total yet he is worse off. He is doing stuff this year he didn't have to last year. So if you see him struggle in coverage you can't make the claim he is worse off than last year.

He is just learning a new position. His pass rush is off because he has to watch for runs now and cover. A couple of posters predicted this earlier in the thread.

Once he gets the position down he's be elite. We might need to stay in that nickle against big time passing teams though.

this confirms it for me, that Aldon is lacking a bit of maturity , you cant chalk up every incident as "someone eles fault" and "he is still young yet" , like it or not, Aldon is a role model for young 49ers fan , and he has an obligation to the franchise to "tone it down a little" at least

hopefully he gets his $hit together before he is involved in a fatal or tragic incident

Great player, great pure pass rusher but we needed to trade him. He fought with Seifert and Steve Young. We had to sever ties but I strongly believe our defense took a strong turn for the worse when he left. Luckily we spent big in 1994 to shore it up for a short period.

Much improved this season over last. Much, and he is playing full time. He had a great tackle for a loss tonight and some great containment.
