Agree--Jenkins will be able to develop throughout the year(s) in situations tailored to his success.

Good thing is he will still get his chances I'm guessing this year. We have Crabs, Moss, Manningham, Williams, Ginn, and Jenkins, that's 6 receivers, but we all know how Harbaugh likes to mix up his formations and create mis-matches. Get him a little playing time here and there. Utilize his strengths and not have to force him to be a play maker quite yet.

I don't think it works that way, but I'm sure Harbaugh and Roman will put him in situations to succeed. It just may take a year or two before he really is counted on. And that's when he'll really begin to shine. Plus having a strong locker room can't hurt either.

I would add Goldson not signing to the negatives.

If too long for a title, simply use the well-known acronym NWINASAPNATITGSOT.

Cross him out as one of the perfect attendance guy. One of the goofiest camp presser from Harbaugh.

5.) It's hard to see anyone displacing Alex Boone at RG. For one, Boone has been a man on mission to win a starting spot since he arrived in 2009. He's embraced his new position and has directed his razor-sharp focus to mastering it. There's also a practical matter. He's never played guard before, he must develop cohesion with Anthony Davis and Jonathan Goodwin, and he needs all the practice reps he can handle. With that in mind, it's unlikely the 49ers will platoon other potential RGs - Daniel Kilgore, Joe Looney - in with the first-string unit during training camp.
Good stuff from Matt Barrows here... worth the click.

"It's very intense," six-year veteran strong safety Donte Whitner said. "I don't know if coach is just trying to run as many plays as we can, but I guarantee you if we're not the team that runs the most plays in mini-camp, we're in the top five."

Love this from Harbaugh. He's working on his guys knowing the plays. Knowing where to go and where to be. Then the speed and physical part comes in at training camp with pads. I swear this guy will get his players in mid season form come September without killing them. Love it.
