look if you were a fellow probowl safety, let alone NFL football player...then yes you would be in a more respectable position to say what is considered greed to you. But you are not. You do not go through what they go through.

if someone in your workplace, who is paid similar to you, started to hold out from working because he wants more money than you....then I can see where you are coming from calling that person greedy.

you can state your opinion (which have not been based off facts mind you) all you want....I'll just continue to call it out if I want to.

You and a couple of other posters in here have posted in the past, speculating the type of person Goldson is, based off nothing he or his teammates or coaches have said publicly. And from there just made presumptions all on your own.

Even after the fact that his coaches and trainers praised him as a person and a hard working player...even when he is away from the team.....then he speaks out and doesn't come off as a greedy, selfish, etc type of person you have stated...but still that is not enough for you....because you are "oldman9er " and "you have an opinion".....right. smh.

love how you edit your initial posts to come off as something you are not, after the fact. Too bad your true character can't be edited, once when someone quotes you.

Shake it all you want. Goldson wants to be the highest paid safety... right along with Weddle. The Niners offered him a deal giving roughly 7 mil per VS the 8 mil per. Far more than he's worth, IMHO. Goldson said no. That 7 mil in one year would have been more than Goldson made in his entire career... he wanted more.

... and you want to tell me that is not greed? THAT is smh-worthy.

Throughout this entire page, you have time and again gone after me personally... which violates WZ rules... and quite frankly, is boring. So you may want to stick to talking Dashon and football. I know it's tough for you to do when you are so upset, but give it your best try.

No one will sign their franchise tag until TC. And very rare that a contract is agreed upon. That's just the business side of 'franchise tag' in the off season. You can put your opinion on the situation how ever you want, but that's just the agents' part of football. Telling their players to hold out for leverage in negotiation. Been like this for years.

It's such a big deal what other people think. I hate other people that think different than me or have a different opinion. Everyone should think exactly the same, and when one person talks bad about another, the best way to handle the situation is to do the exact same thing. Everything get resolution that way. So you think being offered seven million and turning it down because you want eight isn't being greedy? Please define greedy for me if that isn't it, because if you look up greedy, I am pretty sure that its definition would pretty well cover that. The guy is a decent safety with plenty of room to improve his game, I like him as a player, but greed is greed, no other word for it man.

I'd be okay with a long contract that gave him top 10 money. We'll see what the 9ers do.

how do we know it is even true that 7mill was offered? he was offered a certain amount last year, which I believe was confirmed....I don't believe this 7mill offer has been confirmed, only rumored..

again, this is his life...we don't own him....if he feels he is worth a certain amount, then he will have to deal with eventual conclusion to all of this.

also, if its true, you don't offer 7mill to a "decent safety with plenty of room to improve". Our Front Office knows what their doing, and so does Dashon. No need to label the guy "greedy" when we don't really have any idea what is going on.
