Gore will finish first in yards and second in rushing TDs.

707 where did these stats come from? How about defensive stats?

I was surprised to see that Steve Young only has 3 more 4th quarter comeback then Alex. But then I realized that when Steve Young played, they never had to play from behind.
Alex Smith's stats the last three years

Passing Yards (7,864)
Passing TD's (49)
Passing INT's (27)

Alex Smith next three years projection

Passing Yards (9,350)
Passing TD's (63)
Passing INT's (28)
You conviently left out TDs & Interceptions
Passing Yards (Smith should be able to catch Tittle and Garcia easily but must stay healthy and a starter for quite a few years to catch Young--would have to have six very good years--3000 Yds x 6. Eight years to catch Montana). He is only 28 this season so may have ten more years. I would think he needs to have about 3000 per year to remain SF QB.

1. Joe Montana (35,124)
2. John Brodie (31,548)
3. Steve Young (29,907)
4. Jeff Garcia (16,408)
5. Y.A. Tittle (16,016)
6. Alex Smith (12,543)

Comebacks are too conditional to guess.

Rushing Yards (two good years needed or one very good year--very do-able).
1. Joe Perry (8,689)
2. Frank Gore (7,625)
3. Roger Craig (7,064)

Rushing TDs (depend on who carries the ball at the goal line and James may do much of that after this year. Should be able to reach second place).

Receiving Yards (everyone can catch all but Rice--I won't predict catching Rice)
1. Jerry Rice (19,247)
2. Terrell Owens (8,572)
3. Dwight Clark (6,750)
12. Vernon Davis (3,803)
24. Michael Crabtree (2,240)

Joe the Jet played two year in Bal so he had a few less yards as a niner.
