he can expect a raise if he has anywhere near the season we just had. But i think he is too humble to make a case for it, which is why i love him

It's not that Harbaugh has the lowest salary, it's that all other NFC West head coaches are grossly overpaid.

Fisher doesn't deserve 7.5M a year, and Carroll is not an elite head coach. Wisenhunt built his reputation off of Kurt Warner and has yet to replicate it with any other QB.

Belicheck also had an 11-5 record with Matt Cassell as his QB.

Wisenhut didn't make Kurt Warner though. Belicheck had Tom Brady from day 1.

Harbaugh didn't have to move his family when he agreed to become the new HC of the Niners. He has several kids and one of them was born not long before he signed with the Niners. Don't underestimate the value of not having to move your family across the country. The Dolphins never had a chance.
