AJ Jenkins is a 49er

It's such a blessing when your 1st round pick can be #3 or 4 on the depth chart and it's still all good. habrs/roman get to play to his strengths and build confidence early on a la Aldon last year.

I bet AJ makes a lot of 1st downs and TDs this year despite playing < 50% of our offensive snaps.

dunno about TDs but i definitally see him coming in on 3rd down situations he is quick and fast runs routes well and makes quick cuts while having great hands all great qualities of a great slot WR and 3rd down WR

This approach of coaching up guys (esp. high draft picks) and developing them slowly and integrated them more and more makes you wonder if they took this same approach with Alex last year (like a rookie season - except we needed him to start). So, we should expect bigger things from Aldon Smith and Alex Smith this year and a lot more from AJ Jenkins & LMJ's next year!

i think LMJ will make more impact this year but AJ in the long run

LMJ instantly becomes the best RB to catch passes in backfield and his speed and elusivness he will see a lot of 3rd downs and plays involving screns and other passes

/with the quality WR ahead of AJ i dont think he will see too much playing time rather he will be slowly introduced in and quote frankly thats ggreat he does all the little things well his only negitive is he needs to hit the gym.

sharp in and out of his cuts
although not a complete burner he is fast


all those things are hard to teach however building muscle is relativly easy

Agreed. I think LMJ will get 5-10 touches a game atleast off screens, dump offs, and outside running plays. He and Jacobs really give our running game 2 more dimensions than we had last year.

I have hopes for Crabtree having a jaw dropping season sometime to come. Not like the kid has anything separating him from other truly great WR's in the league. He has solid hands given a decent pass, he is fast enough, and in college was notorious for yards after the catch. Seems like having Moss around motivates him and I bet he picks up some pointers from him as well. I think this might be his year to truly dominate defenses. Given help from our new WR's this offense might explode on teams next year. They have all the pieces. The 4 wide formations they can run are truly going to smoke.

That is just our passing game not factoring in our star tight end and our insanely stacked running back squad. All this alone would probably be enough to get to the playoffs and win a superbowl, but then you add that f**king defense and this team is unstoppable.

Seriously this team has the ability to literally run away with the title and destroy teams next year.

I am almost giddy waiting for this season to start.

He has good hands but, like Jerry, he has had to overcome drops. That is do-able and he improved a lot last year...few if any volleyball plays. I really hope his foot problems are behind him.

Only time Jerry dropped passes was his Rookie year.......I think Crabtree hasn't been right because of the holdout, missed camps, Injuries Bad Coaching.......HE NEEDS TO STEP IT UP NOW. He has no excuses now.
