Plus he didnt cry about getting the ball like Jerry.

And he had a bigger butt which always a plus when you're trying to box someone out.

It also made him harder to tackle, which explains why is the best all time at YAC.

Looks like you know the same amount of football as you do old kung fu movies, grasshopper. Very little! My argument saying Jerry Rice is the greatest ever sounds much more credible than you saying he is the 4th best.

The difference is I was able to back up my argument, you resorted to namecalling.

Best Wrs of all time

1. Don hutson
2. Randy Moss
3. Steve Largent
4. Jerry Rice
5. Chris carter

Everyone knows Rices numbers are inflated due to playing with 2 hall of fame QBs. I didnt even bring up the fact that he kept on playing long after he was any good just so he could inflate his numbers even more.

Don't forget about Marvin Harrison.

John Taylor was also better than Rice but just didnt have the work ethic.

How the hell is Bruce not sitting were Moss is?
Oh well the dude is a fossil. You could argue all day that the fossil owns the top spot but the fact is he didn't play in the same era and Rice out performed him. I know you have nostalgia love for Hutson but Rice is top dog. Performance beats potential every single time.

You did your archaeological dig and the guy you have at #1 is not better than the guy you have at #4. Rice's ability to run perfect routes is still unmatched and if he was 25 years old today or in 1940 he would still be the same stud that he was.

If your argument rings true about him being the product of his QB's then that argument could go a trillion different directions. Then Moss is just a product of Brady. You could say the defenses Rice faced were far more advanced. You could say that coaching was superior or inferior. There are a million different variables in those arguments.

Nobody that has come after him or before him has matched him and that is what matters. Not the couldas or the ifs.
Not a big deal if this is the only one he misses!

Taylor is the one who actually taught Rice about YAC, before Taylor came along Rice would just take a knee or run out of bounds.

I remeber early in his career Rice would go across the middle and take a quick knee instead of looking to break a tackle. If Taylor hadnt of come along Rice wouldnt even be in the top 10.

I see, and I completely agree with you in regard people should state and back up their own opinions. However, I only played the experts card in response to an expert card initially being placed before us, when our personal opinion on Rice as being the greatest WR was belittled to the opinion of Peter Kings.

But when he played the expert card, you attempted to raise him a couple more expert cards. Where does it end?
Well, maybe if the expert card was not given in order to belittle supporters of Rice's ranking, the expert cards wouldn't ever have to come out. I'm fine with personal opinions, we know the zone is filled with them; however, one should not be shocked to have the expert card thrown back at them when they are the one that initially provided the expert card.
The problem is there are a group of geezers talking up this fossil of a WR they just dug up from an archaeological dig, and placing him far above one of our beloved 49ers (the great #80). Not only that but talking about him like he blew hard and was over hyped and doesn't deserve to be ranked among the greats.

I am not judging him on what the mainstream media portrays but rather my own two eye's and definitely not some turd like Peter Kings.

cmon guys, Moss is only slightly better than Rice. but if TO didn't have his stupid chemical imbalance, he'd be the GOAT and head and shoulders above #2.
