The difference is I was able to back up my argument, you resorted to namecalling.

Best Wrs of all time

1. Don hutson
2. Randy Moss
3. Steve Largent
4. Jerry Rice
5. Chris carter

Everyone knows Rices numbers are inflated due to playing with 2 hall of fame QBs. I didnt even bring up the fact that he kept on playing long after he was any good just so he could inflate his numbers even more.

I wasn't sure about him. I thought about putting him on the list instead of Rice, but I didnt want to upset anyone. He definitely has the numbers.

art monk was pretty darn good to. I respectfully disagree with your thoughts on rice but we do agree there are a helluva lot more guys who belong in the top five or top ten than owens My selfish pick for second best of all time is gene washington but of course that is just sentimental blather on my part

I'll take the opinion of a blue-ribbon panel including NFL Films, both current and former NFL coaches, players and front office personnel, as well as noted NFL media members, Hall of Fame voters and league historians concluding Jerry Rice is the G.O.A.T vs. Peter Kings opinion alone, just sayin.

So why don't we just all stop posting, and just fill up the forum with quotes from Peter King.

I'm not sure if you are referring to me, since I'm not the poster referencing Peter King's opinion on Rice.

Brain fart.

I was trying to say this is a forum for people to state their opinions. If all people did is quote "experts", the forum would be a waste of time.

So instead of saying the experts say "blank", instead back it up with your own reasoning.

I see, and I completely agree with you in regard people should state and back up their own opinions. However, I only played the experts card in response to an expert card initially being placed before us, when our personal opinion on Rice as being the greatest WR was belittled to the opinion of Peter Kings.
4 players better than jerry rice. you gotta be kidding me be realistic

John Taylor was also better than Rice but just didnt have the work ethic.

I can name 4 right off the bat...
Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss and Ed Reed

But when he played the expert card, you attempted to raise him a couple more expert cards. Where does it end?

A big part of why Rice's stats are so inflated is that Taylor was often double or triple covered, leaving one on one situations for Rice (or more accurately, Montana and Young) to exploit.
