RT @TheBlueScreen: Jacobs got a one-year deal from #49ers, says source. Total package could be worth more than $2M, base value is less.
team is starting to make some questionable decisions
Oh boy.

Just run forward, Brandon.
interesting signing... this just became a 3 horse stable... should help the shelf life of frank gore during the season. In seasons past, Frank had no one to take the pressure off of him, Now with Jacobs, both can have fresher knees toward the end of the season.
Peace Dixon. I'll miss your hair and tweets but not your inability to convert a 3rd and 1.
Hopefully coach can get him to play as big as his size. For someone as big as him, he sure looks soft as a RB lately.
RJF via Twitter: Did i hear we put Brandon Jacobs in are Back field ? Damn the 49ers Office is doing one Great Job during the off season pick up

Looks good, the standard 9ers contract for FA.

Ugh, one of my least favorite RBs... signing old, retread players is probably the worst idea at the RB position.
if he outworks and outplays dixon in camp that tells us all we need to know about dixon.Besides he can help spell gore for a year , we do not have to spend a draft choice on a back and can draft gores eventual replacement next year. sheesh, i am all for signing guys who just won super bowls and want to play for us.i do not concern myself with worries that he runs his mouth cuz i know the coach and his coaches will nip that in the bud if it goes to far.i do not think there is a problem with our team having a little edge to it.i have always said in the second off season and in the second year of a coaches regime is where you really see major changes in terms of what they want to do and what players they do not want from the previous regime. Spencer is an example, chilo is an example, norris will be soon and that is why i think the jury is still out on crabtree. the second year is when you see big changes
camp body
Bye bye Dixon.

NFC championship game will have another story to report on

IF he runs his mouth and motivates the team thats awesome, I hope harbaugh keeps him out of the media though.
