49ers sign QB Josh Johnson

Alex: "I would relish the opportunity to compete with Peyton Manning"

49ers: "how about we pick up someone closer to your level to compete with. You have a shot at winning this way."
Excellent signing! Great for competition! Not sure if he'll make the final roster though, but still good for pushing the qb's!
Am i the only one wondering wat the hell is going on with the FO lol, i kinda like the move but sign Josh Johnson to compete for the third string spot

beat brees in a shootout
Tolzien is an accurate passer but with less mobility than JJ. With the right team Tolzien can be very effective. Best of luck to him as he certainly will be cut before the season starts.

If they get rid of Tolzien this team can go to hell.

Goodbye Tolzien

IIRC, Tolzien is PS eligible.

You can't put someone of his stature on a practice squad.

I think he's being factitious.
People hate the competition because no one wants to be proven wrong
Im really starting to wonder if they are gonna use Kaep as trade bait.

Yes I know. He is still inconsistent though. Can't wait to see year two in the same offense.

And I know this move is for depth, not to compete for a starting job. Just thought it was funny. :)

THIS. Tolzein is better IMO.

can't see the image but whatever it is I probably agree. I would rather keep Tolzein, I don't get this move. I just hope it's really a cheap contract and that it's because we were the only team who really wanted him. As far as I know the only other team interested was WAS and they are bringing in RG3. I hope Tolzein still has a shot at making the team.

hmmmmmm

how bout nao?

wow last years second and trade up is not looking like a good decision
