Can't really tell if Manningham is an upgrade until he plays in this offensive system. That being said, Manningham has constantly made big plays when it counts, so I think he is an upgrade.

Manningham is faster and better on deeper stuff then Morgan, and Crabtree is entering the same offensive system for the second year in a row. Recieving corps is much better.
^Didn't watch him in 2010.

Yes. I was never that impressed by Morgan. He is far from terrible but if Randy Moss doesn't pan out I feel a lot more comfortable with Manningham as the #2 WR than Morgan.

Manningham is our best receiver right now.

This is a pretty ludicrous question to be honest. Manningham was 10x better at the collegiate level, and he's been much better at the professional level thus far. He's not the superstar he was in college, but he's much better than Morgan has ever been in the NFL, albeit with better QBing obviously.

Manningham is more proven, but look who was throwing him the ball in NY. With Alex, kinda hard to say this year. A great WR starts at who's throwing the ball to him.

Well in stat comparison
Mario Manningham
Josh Morgan
More catches, yards, and touchdowns with less starts.

Invalid statistical conclusion.
How many times were each targeted?
How many times did each team throw the ball?
More variables required.

stats are a little misleading bro. Look at the average yds per catch. About the same. You would need to compare against number of throws, passes per game between teams, etc.
I agree he is an upgrade though, but not as much as most people think. I think Morgan was on his way to being really good before he got injured.
