We should hire Mike Ditka, he knows a good way to sign franchise running backs

because he is 5' 7" weighing in at 199 lbs for a RB... the weight isnt as much of a concern as the height is but still, youd want another 20lbs added onto his weight.

I think with Round 1 the FO is looking to get Fleener. That may be a pipe dream after his Pro-day, but it could happen with a lot of luck. Maybe Hill falls to us and we give him a year to learn the system? Maybe we go with a Guard in RD 1? Not sure, but I have a feeling that our round 1 pick will be Fleener, WR or RG....in that order. If we want a later round power RB, I have an intriguing one that's 6' 240 lbs =
03/22/2012 - Baylor Pro Day: Not to be lost in the day's events was the impressive performance by running back Terrance Ganaway, who ran his 40-yard dash times in the low 4.5's after running a 4.65 at the Combine. He also lifted 225-pounds 22 times on the bench and looked smooth catching the ball. After entering the season as an undrafted free agent prospect, Ganaway could be a top-125 draft pick next month. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

i'm liking what i'm seeing from this kid what i'm worried about is most of those holes i could drive a truck through... i want to see what he can do if the oline breaks down or there is no open hole... does he have the vision to find the cutback lane? i like the way he runs with a low center of gravity he can break tackles but what worries me is if he can find a way to make things work when the play doesn't exactly go as planned

i like his size he's a wiry little guy this gives him a low center of gravity and he could be hard to bring down... his weight will need to be higher though i'd like around 210 for him

Im with you DieHard, so hard to properly judge college RB's. Especially ones with RG3 as their QB, I doubt he faced even one 8 man front. Hopefully the question marks allow him to drop right into our laps and he continues to progress.

The low man always wins, Hunter made many examples out of that phase this last season.
Barry Sanders
Emmitt Smith
MJD
Darren Sproles
Ahmad Bradshaw
Just a small example of Running Backs almost exactly the same size as Hunter and had excelled in there position.

None of the running back draftees impress me at all, not even Trent Richardson. None of them have the cut ability that Gore had coming out of Miami.

Kid can scoot. Niners will need a RB in three years when Sanders leaves Stanford.
