The 49ers have a very difficult road in future playoffs in the NFC.

Colin Kaepernick is not scared of going on the road. In fact, he's really not scared of anything. Nice difference huh? The team rallies around his energy, and f**kin believes in the kid to do his part, so everyone else does theirs. These 49ers are going to be amazing from here on out.

I would argue that they both are but for Stafford's sake his team around him isn't very good.

Who in any state of mind thinks Matt Stafford is elite on any level?
He has the best receiver in the game and still is still average at best. He is inaccurate and throws way too many boneheaded picks. In today's NFL, measuring a quarterback by passing yards doesn't paint the proper picture. Passing yards are the most overrated statistic in football, and Stafford has thrown a high, yet hollow number of them.
Stafford set and NFL record this season for most attempts as well, so of course yards and TD's are gonna come.

Elite Qb's make the players around them better. Stafford is nothing but unfulfilled potential.

Saints are almost 21 million over the cap and that is before they try and re-sign any of their players, just fired their defensive coordinator, in the process of switching to a 3-4, I wouldn't put them on the top of the list by any means, that Brees contract will be an albatross for them for years to come.

Good QB are hard to find; great QG are difficult to cultivate; and elite QB's take time … Kaep, we are already counting on you…

New Orleans Saints: Elite QB. (Brees)
Green Bay Packers: Elite QB. (Rodgers)
New York Giants: Elite QB. (E. Manning)
Detroit Lions: Elite QB. (Stafford)
It's possible we have to beat 1 or 2 of these every single year to advance to where we want to go. Just think how hard that will be. I don't know how often we can even get back to the NFC Championship game. It will take quite an effort to make it even that far.
Good QB's:
Chicago Bears: Cutler
Atlanta Falcons: Ryan
I just don't know where this team is at. I don't know how many years this team can take out 1 of those or 2 of those or 3 of those if they are the wild card. It's going to be REALLY TOUGH.
New England has it easier. They are the only elite QB team. Pittsburgh is on and off with Roethlisburger. The Colts dropped off. The Jets dropped way down. The Houston QB situation is injured a lot. The AFC is easier to get through. By far I think.

Colin Kaepernick-superstar QB from Krypton also goes by the name Kal-El. I am not worried about those teams, our QB comes from a planet orbiting a RED sun. Bring it on!
