3. Don't go near DeSean Jackson (bad attitude)
4. Keep Crabtree and Kyle Williams
5. Resign Josh Morgan
5. Resign Goldson and Rodgers
6. Add depth at RB (draft only)
7. Keep Vernon Davis
8. Resign Ginn (no brainer)
9. Don't cut Chilo without adding a quality replacement (shouldn't be hard)
10. Give Alex Smith receivers that can get open consistantly (see #2)

That's a good list, sir! Though, I don't think #7 should even be listed. That was never in doubt.

In its stead, I would put in DB depth. Our starting unit is good. But would like to have more options off the bench.

Last good one we had was A Bryant... and that was only for a year.

Thanks! I made Vernon part of my list because someone earlier in the thread suggested trading him and I don't agree with that..........
I do agree with depth at DB......
1. Resign Alex (multi year deal) NOPE- how about Peyton Manning instead
2. Sign Colston, Bowe or Wayne (pick 1) NOPE
3. Don't go near DeSean Jackson (bad attitude)NOPE- He is a game changer at WR and punt returns; SIGN HIM
4. Keep Crabtree and Kyle Williams NOPE, get rid of both
5. Resign Josh Morgan Goldson and Rodgers ( ONLY GOLDSON, possibly RODGERS)
6. Add depth at RB (draft only) ABSOLUTELY
7. Keep Vernon Davis ABSOLUTELY
8. Resign Ginn (no brainer) NOPE-injury prone and Desean would take over returns
9. Don't cut Chilo without adding a quality replacement (shouldn't be hard) YUP
10. Give Alex Smith receivers that can get open consistently NOPE, how bout Peyton? Get Desean, Doucet and draft Sanu
I want the Super Bowl win that was STOLEN from me THIS YEAR!

are u serious?
next year we are going to unleash SCOTT TOLZIEN !
Peyton Manning, if he's not on the Colts' roster, you'd have to question how healthy he really is. Also, do you think he'd want to go through another offensive coordinator, after having been in that same system for as long as he has been. Secondly, do you want another transition season? I'm sure if Peyton was to come in, he'd have to learn the playbook, and work under a structured offense, the way Harbaugh has it. Peyton is a pipedream, all. If he's 100% healthy, I'm sure he'll be on the Colts, still.

There's a good chance all of these players get tagged. Colston isn't leaving New Orleans, either.
peyton manning
I would like to see Aldon Smith on more plays. He seems he plays well against the run but I don't remember any situations where he had to cover. (hopefully vic can avoid these situations)

Soap is decent but in a perfect world I would like the 49ers to get a more dynamic NT. Soap is a liability in passing downs.

A WR signed through FA and a high end RB drafted. Dixon has regressed as a RB. Hunter can fill the 3rd down roll but another high end RB can spell Frank when Frank starts to wear down towards the end of next season. This offense should hold 3 capable RB's especially with the mileage Frank has.

I either want to see if Kilgore can fill behind Snyder as the primary Guard back up or sign/draft another guard. Rachal still scares me although he played well the last two games.
