If you guys had trouble covering Vernon, man o man what are you going to do vs Gronk and Hernandez with Brady throwing the ball? Your coverage sucks and our QB didn't take advantage of it enough.

Sometimes a win does come down to a bit of luck. Giants got it. They move on to the Superbowl. All is fair in love and football.

Don't worry, I accept the loss...but don't come on here with blind eyes saying you didn't get lucky. We got lucky when we beat you guys in our comeback game in the playoffs. I am classy enough to know this and say this.

So if you want to think your team wasn't handed the victory, then get out of here and go walk around with your thoughts because NE will light your weak secondary up. It's not like last time when they heavily relied on deep balls and your pass rush got to them. They are throwing quick balls that make your pass rush null and will kill your coverage. You guys couldn't even cover 1 TE with double teams. What makes you think you can cover 2 top TE's?

Call me a hater and keep thinking your team is ready for 2 TE's because they "beat" the 49ers without any help.

some of you guys need to chill. i remember back in the day when 49er fans were cool. times have changed.

congrats to the giants & their fans. i hope you now appreciate our defense. your defense is good too, but honestly, it doesn't take much to shut down our offense.

luck and mistakes are part of the game, just be glad you didn't have KW returning punts for you.

I confess. I hate the Giants. I have hated them since they kayoed Joe in that 1986 Divisional game. Then they stole the three-peat in 1990. Now they steal this one. In spite of all that, I say good job you SOBs. Not only that, I hope they take the whole thing.

you guys gave the game away. It was a defensive battle. Who made the mistake? The niners did. Call it luck, call it chance...call it what you want. You will be watching us play in Indi..not the other way around.

Giants beat the pats this season already. Not sure if you were aware of that. And that was without Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw.

Classless fans like you give 49ers fans a bad name.

thank you. Your D is the best in the NFL. I have no doubts. Get another play making WR (Dwayne Bowe is a fa) and it will be scary how good you guys can be.

I read all week prior to the game about how great the niners are at creating/getting turnovers. That was the one stat Ive seen the most on this forum all week.

Niners lost in that all important catagory 2-0 and it all of a sudden becomes "luck". If thats the case, and turnovers=luck 100% of the time, then your season was just that. Luck.

Luck? There was no luck. Your guys did their jobs and ours didn't. Simple as that. When you strategy is based on playing everything close to the vest, you cannot make mistakes. Both teams played it close to the vest. The Giants (they can bite me) did what they had to do. That's all.
