Regardless of what happens sunday

If we do win this weekend and then make it to the superbowl and win, this season will probably be as talked about for a long time. So many storylines this season for the niners.....1) no offseason, 2) rookie head coach, 3) Alex Smith, 4) another offensive coordinator, 5) strong Rams team, 6) weak NFC West. There are probably more storylines that can be added to that. Point is we had something special this season from the owners to the players. Everyone counted us out to not even win 5 games but the team grew together and believed in one another. Even Alex stuck around for a year to see what happens. Now....we are in the playoffs and we just beat one of the superbowl favorites in the Saints. On top of that, the Packers get beat and now WE get to host the NFC Championship. Its almost like a puzzle thats almost complete and all we need to do is win the superbowl. With the way faith has been going for the team this season....it might even be a HARBOWL Superbowl.

Regardless, we are here and I hope the team can take advantage because its hard to get here because every year there is a team that just surprises people and this year......that is the NINERS!

we will stop the giants from running, and if they send 4 all day and play back in coverage, gore and hunter will tear this giants team apart. thats where we have the advantage, especially since they are calling for rain on gameday. if alex doesnt turn it over, and the game is forced to the ground we win. it is that simple. oth, we now know that alex can carry this team if need be by what happened last week. can he do it in the weather? can eli throw well in the rain with our smiths hunting him? its going to be a good one and know we all cant wait. GO NINERS - the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who would have imagined that we would be 14-3 and playing for NFC championship. Not me, no way.

No matter what happens on Sunday, this season has been remarkable.

The game against New Orleans was one the best games that I have seen, and not merely because we won.

Kudos to York, Baalke, Harbaugh, and each and everyone of the players on the team.

And without slighting any player, I tip my hat to Alex Smith.
