I know we won but the refs were on the take. 100%. I knew it the instant they went under the booth to review Alex's TD. All scoring plays are reviewed upstairs and are usually confirmed really quick. Alex was no where close to out of bounds yet they buzzed down and had him come take a look. I am convinced if they could have found any little thing wrong they would have ruled it a non-TD. It was very very very shady.
Tack that in with the other BS calls like the first PI and then the no PI on Williams on our first drive.

I wouldn't say so. I'm surprised we didn't get hit up even more when Bowman shoved the Saints player after the whistle. We've had some games where there was clear favoritism, but I wouldn't say this was one of them.

That saints player grabbed bowman's face mask. Plenty of non calls on the saints tonight. The refs tried their damnedest, didn't work.

I saw the exact same stuff and said it to my friend. They paid too much attention to who the favorite was and tried to make sure to do right by them. No way they wanted the Saint toblose and be able to question the refs, but it would be okay if the Niners lost and questioned the refs bcuz we were supposed to lose anyway..... It's not right but they couldn't hold us back. Go Niners!!!!

Other then that bogus PI call, I actually thought they called a good game.

Zero penalties is a total joke. There were 1-2 false starts and 4-5 offensive holding calls that went uncalled on the Saints. I mean, I'm glad SF only had 3 penalties, but yeah, that was a bit shady.

Yeah. Bowman got away from a blatant UC call.

For who the Saints???
Never did I see a team NOT get called for one small infraction, even though I spotted numerous penalties by the Saints. They pretty much held Justin Smith almost every other passing play.

And one intentional grounding non call on brees. Threw it away and was still about two yards inside the tackle.

We got lucky on that one for sure, Saints could have been called for a helmet to helmet on a sack but other then that I was too jacked to notice anything else lolOriginally posted by OregonNiner87:Originally posted by jimrat201:Other then that bogus PI call, I actually thought they called a good game.

Exactly. I totally forgot about that. Have on idea what people are talking about when they say good game.
1) b******t...and I mean...BULLLLLLSHIIIITTT PI call on the first drive
2) The PI on Williams where the NO player grabbed his shoulder and twisted him on our first drive
3) The Brees intentional grounding. The ball wasn't 5 yards from the line of scrimmage
4) Brees trying to call a TO after the ball was snapped, the refs letting the play go which is an incompletion on 3rd down. Brees' goes and complains and they decide to award the TO
5) Holding on Justin. Those on TV can't see it but was happening a lot.
6) The false start. The whole D line started pointing at the guy who moved and the refs did nothing.
7) The replay of the Alex TD. Tell me why they went under the booth for that? Did they go under the booth for Colston's long TD which was a tight sideline catch. No, the booth reviewed it quickly and said go. On Alex's, which .. I mean.. I still don't know why the booth buzzed down they have him go under the booth to try and find something wrong. Shady .. shady ... shady .

There was a Randy "Macho Man Savage" elbow dropped on Dixon chin after a play.....also one of our OLine got their head slammed to the turf in a pile around the endzone....
