Callahan is another good one and I believe his contract is up with the Jets, so if Roman does go, the system will remain the same and there will still be a competent...maybe even better play-caller on board.

Yes, Marc "Top 5 offense" in 1995/1996" Trestman.

Marc "I made Scott Mitchell, Jake Plummer and Rich Gannon look like superstars" Trestman.

Marc "My offense beat the crap out of a Superbowl winning Cowboys team with a backup QB and a third string RB" Trestman

Trestman was a scapegoat and the struggles the 49ers had in 96 were more related to their total lack of a running game and problems with the OL than the playcalling. BRB.......Derek Loville and Terry Kirby are my top RB's....

ahahahaha. the 2002 Raiders were still running Gruden's offense. look at the 4-12 Raiders offense in 2003. that's Trestman. look at the Cards offense the years pervious. that's Trestman.

You are 100% correct. I clearly remember how awful trestman was, and with so many weapons on offense too. It was a clear dropoff when shanahan left. Jerry Rice proclaimed " the offense ain't clickin' " during the season.
