i meant that towards you for busting him out..very well then

Either way, it needed changing.

And if you checked in the vets forum you would have seen that it wasnt quite such a closely guarded secret.
i was trolling around for the "who are they" thread couldn't find it though
According to a source, the 49ers have told at least one former NFL wide receiver they might be in touch after the regular season depending on how their in-house replacement, presumably Hastings, fares against the Rams. Hastings was not wearing a practice-squad jersey today in practice and John Matthews, the other in-house candidate for the spot, said he thought Hastings would get the promotion.

Would rather have Joe Hastings run a slant every play than that guy

TO doesn't grasp the concept of team, teammates, team work

Harbaugh says NO

Nah, but when I first heard about him I just made the general assumption most ignorant fans make about white receivers

In October, after wideout Joshua Morgan suffered a broken leg that ended his season, San Francisco worked out a group of wideouts that included Hastings and NFL veterans Brian Finneran, Chris Chambers and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who signed with the Raiders on Nov. 1. Niners coach Jim Harbaugh was impressed by the workout participants.

"Their workout was outstanding," Harbaugh said on Oct. 12. "You really like the whole group; it was like 'That's a heck of a group.'"

Finneran, 35, is a 12-year NFL veteran who last played in the league in 2010 when he had 19 catches for 166 yards and three touchdowns with the Falcons. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds last year, he is a big-bodied target, something Harbaugh said San Francisco was seeking when they signed Edwards in early August.

Looks like management things Finneran > Terrell Owens
