I realize that but I'm assuming both are expected back. Edwards wasn't contributing anyway. They're not losing any production here. Like I said unless those two are expected to miss an extedned period of time you're not going to see a move for a WR other than Swain. He's most familiar with the offense.

True but if KW get another concussion or if another WR get injured then we are really screwed. How do you think swain got on the team?

I really wouldn't mind seeing Hill come back since he never really got a fair shot with Singletary in the first place. Zeigler wouldn't be bad either.

I totally agree with you there but I think both are going to be fine. If not than we may indeed see a move for a WR but I still think they would elevate practice squad player before bringing in someone from outside the organization. Our 3 TE sets are going to be vital for us in the playoffs. More important than another WR IMO.

going to the playoff with 4 WR is dangerous not worth the risk

Whatever happens, this would be a great time to bring someone in and have three weeks to the first playoff game and get into baraughs system

The thought of Zeigler makes me cringe because he would probably be the worst option as far as durability goes. If he ends up getting hurt then we'll be right back where we started. Moss has the best hands but Hill has some value because of his time with Alex. I just hope they can get it right, because our WR corp needs to step up their game and help this team take it to the next level.

That would be cutting a position we are thin at, to fill a position we are thin at. That would not be a smart move. If they just wanted a roster spot for another TE, it would make more sense to make room somewhere we have some depth. Dropping a backup Safety maybe, since we have a few that can play either spot. Drop Moran Norris, and have Peelle fill in if Miller went down. Brock or Spencer would be an option, since we have some room at CB (But would hate to be short at all, VS. the Packers or Saints). I think cutting Norris would make the most sense, if it was just to create a roster spot for a TE.

How good would the pickup of Brandon Lloyd been right about now?

From what i heard Lloyd didn't want to be traded to the 9ers

If we are gonna make it to the show it will be by running the ball. Thats our strenght and we do it better that anyone in the NFC. With that being said, a TE makes more sense than a WR.
