Is Moss or any other receiver who has largely been sitting on the couch this past season really going to help us? Granted Braylon wasn't contributing as he should, but we are talking about bringing in a guy to aid our offense, in the playoffs, with little-to-know knowledge of it. Unless, Coach sent playbooks two months back to all the over-the-hill wrs (Moss, Owens, etc) that are currently out of work, I am concerned about this move.

I agree about Walker.

Anquan Boldin put up pro bowl numbers with broken jaw a couple years back. This injury will say a lot about Walkers toughness, and hopefully he will get the next 3 weeks to recover.

Hill played on ST if I remember correctly. Losing Swain wont make or break us at this point.

I am kind of anxious to see Swain play. He can't do any worse than Edwards did. Who were the others who tried out when he signed? I'd look for one of them to get the call.

He hasnt been part of this team all year. He is a FA

Don't know why you guys think it could be Hill, Ziggy or any other guy not currently on the practice squad. I can't imagine trying to integrate a player this late in the season, while practice squad guys have been taking reps and sitting meetings all year. As for Ziggy and Hill, they had their chances, and this staff chose not to go that direction, and put time into the practice squad guys instead. Ziggy and Hill were both let got due to lack of practice square eligibility, but this late in the season I just don't see it.
