Believe it or not, Dukes is one of the few picking us to win this game.

Ryen Rusillo, and Scott Van Pelt, each chose the 49ers to win the game. I just can't believe those who say the Giants are the more complete team, because it seems as if they haven't seen the 49ers special teams at work all season long; they also forget the 49ers coverage teams were in on two turnovers, of the five total in that game.

I think the whole concept of "complete team" is illusory. Its being presented as if the most "complete team" always wins. That is not the case. I wish someone would call them on this.
Overall I think the 49ers are the more complete team. But the Giants have a better QB and a strong pass rush. But they the 49ers have much stronger special teams/run defense/run offense/takeaways.
The most "complete team" just perusing the stats in the playoffs was likely the Steelers. Top half of the league in rushing and passing offense as well as rushing and passing defense. In fact the Steelers are the ONLY team in the playoffs with that distinction. And this complete team got Tebowed and bowed out.

RKab--agree that the term complete team is overused. However, you say that E Manning is the better QB and I disagree in that "better" is subjective. Playoffs are won with D, ST, and efficient offense with no or few turnovers. The team that can play that way will likely win 90% of the time. The only offense still in the playoffs that can offset a poor defense or recover from turn overs is NE. Alex Smith is more efficient than E Manning and less likely to make a mistake. So I would say that they are fairly even as Manning has a stronger arm and better receivers.
Then there is luck and that oblong ball that can bounce oddly! Smith says it comes down to who makes the plays, I'll go along with that!

Lmfao... Really?

At least the black chick has enough common sense to raise a valid arguement.
The same one we just happen to have been preaching for weeks.
My favorite is his reasoning behind it...
Did Sproles torch the 49ers defense?...
Gee Idk... Did he torch them on the ground?.. NO!

He was the first to jump on the bandwagon, and the first to jump off. I don't care what he says, no RB on the Giants is running anywhere but back to the sideline.
