"Smith can dictate his play calls at the line of scrimmage more than in the past. He usually calls two plays in the huddle, and depending on the defense, Smith will yell out, "Let it roll" or circle his fists in front of his chest. That signals to the offense to go with the first play that's called. If he wants to go with the second play, Smith will yell, "Kill, kill" or make a slashing motion with his hand."

But it seems every time he yells "Let it roll" its check into a run play??

I guess I don't here it or recognize when he does "let it roll" into a pass play. But most of the time it seems like a run play, thanks.

Here's another instance where it was a pass...

I remember all we had to do is get a couple of yards in the first half of the redskins game on a 3rd and short, but the play wasn't called in time and we got a delay of game call because of all of the audibles Alex had to do. I feel like it takes too long to run the play that costs us to lose a potential first down. Sometime I feel like we're making plays look too fancy.
Originally posted by gamechanger:Thank you for the evidence... But from my observation I would say easily 90% of the let it roll plays seem to be a run. Thank you for the constructive evidence. Go 9ers

But most definitely the let it roll plays have 100% been run plays. Its just kinda of a give away but last game still would gain at least 2 yards or more on each "Let it roll" plays

I think he's calling 2 plays in the huddle, if he switches the play during audible, I think he's yelling "kill kill" or something like that, and i think the rolling motion means to continue with the first play, I could be wrong though
this! let it roll probably means go with the play called and kill kill means go with the other play
Yeah if you think like Singletary, then it would be 100% run plays. How dumb would that be if it was all run plays the defenses would catch on and no way Harbaugh and Co. would do such a thing. Watch the game a little closer before you start saying stuff like this. As a matter of fact here's proof that you're wrong...

Dude, this is a pathetic post. Go read up on how the speakers work and try not to embarrass yourself next time. Bashing Smiths intelligence- cheap. Doing so while showcasing yours- priceless.
