Simple Question: Who benefits this team the most knowing that Braylon is coming after the bye week? More likely than not it will be another WR, but I wanted to put up a poll as well as a little argument for another TE at the bottom just for some good constructive conversation, enjoy! WR-wise: Ziggy seems to have a leg up on the rest. He is an extremely hard worker, should have had ample recovery time by now, game experience and has practice chemistry with Alex. Long and Hastings just don't seem ready yet but with this coaching staff, if they see something they like I would never question their judgment with either of those two. Konrad Reuland: I included him for a few reasons. a) As mentioned before... we get Braylon after the bye so we may only be looking for a quick bandaid on the position. b) With some Roster maneuvering, ie: sending Morgan to IR if hes really done for the year, or cutting Norris, he can be brought up in addition to another receiver in the future. c) Every report from preseason and in games showed he is a great possession receiver, may not be the most athletic but very sure handed. The lions are stout in the middle but susceptible to outside runs. Bringing up Reuland for this game, putting him in Walkers current role while Walker plays more WR would get more big bodies on the outside to seal the edges and avoid running right at Suh and the strength of the Lions D. d) While Reuland may not be the end-game for what Harbaugh wants in his tight-ends, I believe it is the direction this offense is going. Looking at the Finleys, the VD's, and Jimmy Grahams of the league, creating an offense that has 3-4 players on the field at one time who can block, line up at some FB, are too fast for LB's but too big for DB's is the epidemy of a new age west-coast offense.

If i recall correctly this was a big debate a few years ago with Spikes, rumored to workout and lots wanted him but others said he was too old and washed up as well......just sayin
