Well let's see.....Joe Staley looks God awful. Starting to think he is highly overrated. RG position is pathetic. RT is so hum. Maybe because we don't have a good O-Line that might be the problem.
Seriously Staley has sucked ass this yr so far. Not impressed. Chilo has about played himself out of town.

It's early yet, but we've played three top ten defenses so far in terms of yards per game allowed
Seattle # 10
Dallas # 5
Cincinnati # 3
Next three games . . .
Philly # 12
Tampa Bay # 24
Detroit # 6

Let's see here. If we had a running game perhaps we would be around the 300 yard plus mark per game.
Don't mind Bob, he would hate Smith if the guy was carrying our offense to wins...oh wait.

I think our offense contributed to those high numbers
Probably more like 13, 8, and 6. After we are done with the next 3, they will be 9, 21, and 3. We are improving the NFL. Contributing to the Detroit hype.

This thread is like a boy in high school bitter because he's taking the bus to the prom while everyone else takes a limo.

You can care bout da rank, I care bout da W(ins). Better to win ugly then to loose pretty. You think da "2000 ravens" cared bout winnin ugly, no. I'm not sayin our "D" is as good but if coachd rite we can have a similar year if not da same. I not goin to say "anytime they want" buut for the most part da "O" has moved da ball. Maybe not consistently but when they've needed points. This team should(I know shoulda, woulda, coulda) be 3-0 if not for that cowgirl game. I'll take that for now & as long as we're winning. New coach(especially a NFL), new system, no continuity on "O" plus a very good "D" equals ugly "W's". In a couple years we still have a problem & it doesn't look like its gettin better then you should have made this thread or bring it back. Til then GO! NINER!! IN 2011 & beyond.

The team seems to be improving but the erratic line play, as expected as it is, frustrates me like crazy! Penalties (3 on Rachal!) basically kept the niners in bad field position the whole first half of the Bengals game. So Harbaugh played the conservative field position game and came out a winner, knowing that they could only score a minimal number of points. Smart move because it worked.
The Dallas game was smartly coached as well but Romo played one of the best, gutsiest 2nd halfs of a game in his life to pull out a win--in overtime! Could the 9ers have opened it up a bit more? Perhaps but with Edwards out their game plan seemed to faulter.
Seattle is Seattle and a first game win was very soothing!

One positive thing though....
Even though we are last in O and the opposing D has successfully stoped Gore dead in his tracks; we're 2-1; and thats with Alex as our QB..... Even our loss went in to OT. If we had a decent QB, we'd be 3-0 right now.

We do have a decent qb, if the offensive line would nut up and do their muthahumpin jobs, we would have won, if the defense hadn't had the breakdowns in coverage, we'd be 3-0. Smith is not the reason we lost that game, he and the defense are why we were in that game.

That's not true, because Smith never leaves a play on the table. If he checked it down, its only because no one was open....I thought you knew?
Ok, that was my last dig of the day. At this point I'm just having fun with it.... Sorry, guys.
