Of course we have tricks we havnt seen from the preseason. So do 31 other teams. Im excited to see how it all unfolds. But im not holding my breath on a great season. We r still behind other teams who r using the same system as last year. I just want to see improvment this year and I will consider it a success.

I believe we will have a lot of blown big plays, due to new scheme (and all the all out blitzing) Many of them will involve goldson.

i was sooo tired of the "We Bend but don't break" crap the past few season,,,,,,, so glad Munusky is gone.

This, he had a few good game plans that always got worse at the end of the game and resulted in losses.
Saints
Vikings game.
Falcons
Where we played good solid bend but don't break, then went into prevent/cover who defense to lose the games at the end.

So its likely that our defense will give up more big plays this year but we should also make a few more big plays on defense.

Here's something we don't need to hide but will probably not be able to sustain, especially with D-Line movement and blitzes.
22 consecutive games in which the 49ers have not allowed a 100-yard rusher, the longest active streak in the NFL. AFC champion Pittsburgh was the only other team last season to not allow a 100-yard rusher.
