with the Rams, its not so much who they play, its when they play them.

That's a pretty brutal first half. I mean, obviously "who" they play matters, I'm just saying, its hard to see them getting to midseason in position to make a run. IDK, you never know, of course, but I think a 1-4 start is a strong possibility.

We're pulling in the bottom of the pack this season anyway. I'm predicting the division looks like this
Rams
Seacocks
Tards
49ers

i think the rams start 1-7, so i think the niners will be 9-7 or 8-8 , and the rams at best 8-8 same with the cards, and the sea 6-10.
either way i think the division will be decided in a tie breaker or we win it by 1

I predict two teams tie for the division at 7-9 and go down to the last tie breaker and Goodell blows a gasket and takes a draft pick from us.

Division winner will be 9-7, and it wont be the seahawks.

I'm not even thinking about winning the division, if the team shows progress at the end of the season it will be a good year. The team can use this year as a foundation to build a consistent playoff contender.

The 9ers will likely struggle coming out the gate and it would be nice to have tough teams there so a loss would be expected. But, out of the six games before the bye they have three light opponents: Seattle, Cincinnati, and Detroit. That means they could easily be 3/3 by the bye, losing to Dallas, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay (though both Dallas and Tampa Bay could be bad).
I don't like Seattle as the first game because the 9ers might be along ways from a cohesive unit at that time.
There are only two strong teams in the last seven games: Baltimore and Pittsburgh. So if the 9ers can keep it around 500 by that time, and they begin to mature, they could finish strong against division rivals, none of whom are exactly scary.
2011 Losses: Dallas, Philadephia, Tampa Bay, Giants, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. That would make it conceivable for them to finish 10-6, more likely 8-8.

Detroit isn't exactly a light opponent. Their defense is tough!

Agreed Suh looks like he wants to eat QB's and with the way our O-line is playing

He's been labeled a "dirty" player by the media thanks to Goodell's new pansy QB rules.
We won't beat the lions in Detroit. Their dline will kill us.
