a lot of people are pointing out the rams have a brutal schedule.....well the only two games different that they have are the nfc conference second place games as do the niners third cards fourth and of course sea 1st. A possible projection: Sea plays atl and chi Both losses STL plays new orleans and GB both losses SF plays Tb and DET probably one win and one loss...but could lose or win both as well ARIZ plays carolina and Minn i would say win car and lose minn So as it stands ariz has the best chance out of the 2 other games that our dic=vision has to play but the main difference between our division is how we play vs eachother and common opponents. Since we can all agree that every team in our division will have some trouble scoring 20+ points a game, no one offense is really ahead of the other. Ariz might have the best passing game but the niners will have the best running game with gore. It comes down to defense vs opponents and the niners clearly have by far the best d in the division. Yes the rams did well last year on D but they stll have a horrible secondary, bad lbs, and only one good Dlineman. So they overachieved plus playing the nfc west really helped their sacks and defensive ratings (and they even LOST to ARIZ SEA and SF). by that alone i think the niners have the best chance at the division. What are your thoughts matchup wise re the schedules?

Not complaining I think its cool as hell, because thats the way football was when I was little. Granted though, Id hate to see him slam alex smith down, and have to see Ck come in and throw 3 ints a game.

He's not playing dirty, he's just playing the football the way it was meant to be played.

If our OLine jells by that game I can't see losing to them. Our D should be improved over last year and if the offense is not improved we will have a very bad year...not something I'm willing to predict yet.

winnning the division will be importnant

i think o line is thekey i hate to keep bringing this up but so far in preseason when smith ahs had time
9which is only the raider game he brought the ball to the redzone 3 times and all the passes so far whenever he has had a pocket he had a complete pass (except for 1 pass behind edwards which was his first pass all of preseaaon)

i honestly think if we give him a pocket the ball will move and also we have been playing extremely vanilla with our schemes and personnel
