Obviously, Vernon and Delanie aren't going anywhere so it's down to whether Reuland can take Nate Byham's spot on the depth chart. Byham's a better talented blocker and has pretty decent hands, while Konrad is faster and known to be a great pass catcher. I think with the playmaking ability of the first two TEs, the 49ers may opt to go with the solid blocker in Nate unless Konrad can improve that area.

Konrads draft profile actually reads a lot llike my draft crush Fleener. I am rooting for Reuland to improve his blocking and beat out Bynham. From what I read Bynam looked uncomfortable in his knee brace in the OTA, he could still be slowed from his injury. That being said, I want Reuland to earn the roster spot, not be the default 3rd TE.

do not know why your post had 3 of the same quotes, so I am simply replying.
The Niners are working Tukufua at FB. maybe they see him as the wham position Sopoaga played last year, maybe they see tukufua as one who can play FB in addition to DE??
This would make the better pass catching TE the choice in my book.

Doesn't Nate Byham have practice squad eligibility? If Reuland does beat him out, I see us retaining both somehow.
