Yup that boy Suh is a beast.

Do you guys watch Lions games?

Suh is not as good as advertised this year.

wonder why? perhaps he just sucks all of a sudden. or is it that he's getting game planned around by opposing D-Coordinators of the league. i don't know. maybe the d-coordinators love to collect paychecks instead of pink slips.

He is definitely getting gameplanned, and he can't beat the double team, and his biggest weakness....his emotions, dude plays mad, ends up trying too hard, and then gasses out. Suh is a force for sure, but overrated imo.

I am more terrified of Ngata, he gets double teamed and still is on the highlights week in and week out.

at work so I did not see the Hodge segment but it makes total sense, however you have to believe the Lions are recognizing that strategy as well and will adapt accordingly, so it'll be interesting to see if they do that tonight vs the Bears
not worried about it, harbaugh is awesome at hiding weaknesses and keeping other teams off balance. 5-1.

Would love if we did that to Stafford.
And we all know how fragile Stafford is, he is going to take some hits, without no doubt.
Thinking about this game, when was the last time we played the lions and the game had any relevance to both teams at all? We've both been so bad for so long. Anyone remember? I think Barry Sanders was still playing.

did the Niners stop doing the captain "C" patches this year? I dont remember seeing anyone wearing them.

In case nobody answered you Harbaugh said that's more of a hockey thing and this is football. Gore and Willis are the only captains.
I wonder how bad we'll take the Lions apart. I usually read WalterFootball.com for his picks, but he really blew it this week. He took the Bucs over the Niners for +3 since "49ers can't run the ball." Worst pick ever! Freeman is a random disaster. The new sexy rexy?
I would love to be in Detroit's defensive film room this week, watching them, watch us! If we are to believe Frank and Vernon, these guys might just quit before the game even starts! Just kidding, I would however still like to see how the react to all of our formations, and personnel packages in their film room this week, they are tough guys and pro players for sure, but what we are doing is very different, I'm sure they will be confident, and I am sure JH will have a surprise or two for them! Go Niners!
My uncle is into parlays and betting on football games and I urged him not to put his money on Tampa Bay this week but he didnt listen lol ...He figured Blount would gouge us after seeing him on Monday night against Indy. I know alot of zoners crave national attention and respect around the league but my uncle is like 99% of the rest of the USA he just doesnt believe in Alex Smith or that the 49ers are legit. Suffice it to say when I called him Sunday afternoon i tried to play the dumb card as if I was just calling to say whats up but he knew I wanted to rub it in about the 49ers dismantling Tampa .. I'm not a hater but glad he lost his money for betting against San Fran .... as far as Detroit some say this isnt a GPS game but yes it is .. 49ers will not get the true respect of the league until they reel off multiple impressive wins outside the NFC West.. by the time we play Baltimore if we are sitting at 9-1 or 8-2 the league will take notice. This Lions game is big .. if we win its a HUGE win . if we lose the "experts" will say how good Detroit is with little to say about the 49ers ... when you think about it Detroit is one dimensional coming out the gates and without doing anything substantial we can handle their "run" game or lack thereof. Our focus this week needs to be purely on stopping the pass and screens to Jahvid Best ... Even if CJ gets 2 tds I believe we can slow down everyone else ... I'm not overly confident but like our chances if we avoid an Alex or o-line implosion.
i think Aldon Smith is gonna rip staffords head off and s**t down his neck.

Your uncle isn't very smart gambler if he thought Blount gouging Indy's absolutely horrendous run defense means that he would gouge perhaps the best run D-line in the game, even in the stats. Not to mention the whole short week, traveling across country thing. I mean, when was the last time the Niners gave up a rushing TD or a 100+ rusher again?
I Have Megatron And Stafford For My Fantasy, Should I Bench Them LOL
