If he goes to another team for top dollar, he easily might end up in the same boat that he was in with Washington.
True. He's in a perfect football situation right now. He should recognized that and try to stay with this team.
Agree. I think he will stay here, I believe his agent is just seeing an opportunity to drive up the price with the way he is playing. I don't blame him for trying to get as much as he can to stay here since he likes it.

He'll stay with the 49ers. I'd offer him a deal somewhere around 4 years, $25M with esculators.

+1
He plays well because we play with safety help over the top so he can jump routes at will which in turn gives him INTs. I read a article, from ESPN I think, "the 4 hardest players to gameplan for" and Rogers was included on the list. They claim he dropped 6 possible INTs this year on top of the 6 he's already got. Imagine if he'd been able to get a hold of 3 of those. He'd be a a defensive player of the year nominee.

In most of the interviews on tv or radio they keep asking him about his Redskins past and comparing it to his season with the 9ers. Dude must be sick of answering it over and over again.

Goldson or Rogers.
One will be gone.

I don't get why players don't recognize this. I guess they just want to cash in.

I thought that was obvious in 99 cases out of 100.

If I had to choose....I'd pick Rogers to stay. Not many CB's out there these days that can cover and Rogers has proved that he can do just that and get INT's.

Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN
CB Carlos Rogers wants to be back, and 49ers tell him they want him back -- at the right price. He wants it done before free agency.
Cruz raped him in the first half but Rogers was really good in the 2nd, i hope he comes back

I would like him back but I wouldnt over pay. Cruz ate his lunch in the first half and it wasnt even close.

This one's a no-brainer, isn't it?
Fool's Goldson was the Giants' best DB out there yesterday. First he foiled one interception by Brown by knocking him TFO, then he defensed Rogers on another INT.

Cruz did have him going but Carlos made adjustments. We need to get him back. I say maybe a 2-3 year deal worth about $25 million.

They need to keep this defense together because it is championship quality.

And Cruz got shut down in the 2nd half, when it mattered most.

rogers to me is a bigger priority than goldson..corners who can cover like he can much hard to find than hardhitting safety with good range..
