We will be better than last year, but this year's schedule is tough. 7-9

My final call is 7-9.
I put mine at 5-11 before we made FA acquisitions because I saw us heading down a terrible path (2004) that I've seen before and didn't feel like we would be able to snag any sort of talent.
I then stated in a thread that if we traded for asante samuel, signed another veteran safety or corner and brought in a a vet WR that I would reconsider.
Well all of that has happened minus the Samuel move, but Rogers will do.
I just want to see exciting fooball.
I think a lot of times people forget (myself included) that in addition to the consecutive piss-poor records over the past 8 years, virtually none of the few wins the team got were against winning clubs. If someone was to do the research, I'm curious as to what the true numbers would be. It's baffling, they NEVER beat teams that are good. Never.
Hopefully that changes this year and we steal a couple and upset a quality team or two.
I think this coaching staff is on the right track but with a shortened offseason, the same old QB and new roster additions, true success this year will be very difficult.
