DIVISION CHAMPS ...realistic nothing more

its tough to predict whats gonna happen this year. even if/when the lockout ends next week it will still have a big effect on us seeing that this is pretty much a whole new coaching staff coming in and the players will only have 2 months to really get to know each other let alone its already hard enough to learn the WCO in a full offseason .Having a tough schedule and Alex Smith coming back doesnt help much either but with the lockout what choice do we have? David Carr? no thanks. Kaepernick? he will be good in a few yrs but as of right now he needs to sit and wait for his time.Being in a god awful division does helps alot and besides the Retardnals getting Patrick Peterson neither team really did good in the draft and talent wise we already r the best team in the division. so optimistically speaking if Harbaugh has the team fired up and ready for the challenge something no niner coach has done since mooch i see us at 8-8 or 9-7 which will be enough to win the west. wont count on it though we can definitely be 5-11

9-7 is Realistic.

Only losing 2 or 3 home games to the Steelers and either Giants or Dallas.

And pulling out 3 or 4 wins against either STL, Seattle, Arizona, Cincy, or Detroit.

We were a mess last year (coaching, QB carousel, turnovers) and still were in contention for the playoffs. We were in a position to win the majority of the games we lost playing run, run, run punt football. The only other team in the division that has seemed to progress is STL. I firmly believe that this coaching staff will dictate the game rather than react... and if your listening Singletary dictating the game does not mean run up the middle till we are behind and forced to throw.
