not impossible cowboys talent not much better than ours

also steelers depend a lot on running game our strength is our run D and remember last year if it werent for our secondary we woudve beat the extremely talented saints and falcons

hopefully we fix the secondary in our draft

The 49ers aren't very good, but this schedule looks pathetic. They should manage at least a 9-7 record.

Most of the tough teams, we play at home. Oh, and we play in the NFC West.

We play at home with a good chance of a rookie or David Carr starting under center.

Still think 9-7 looks easy?

Harbaugh outcoached by playoff experienced Carroll

Come on now.... We can't be losin to Seattle at home

It's a new situation for the 49ers, I think the first game could be a learning process.

another loss to a good team on the road

When did the Redskins become a good team?

you're absolutely right, change that to 'another loss to a bad team on the road'

Have at it.

Final Record: 7-9

I think we start out strong and carry through into December with a 7-5 record then fall apart at the end.
Those last 4 weeks are critical. Note that there are only 5 days between the home game against Pitt and the game at Seattle. Late in the season with a short week, that's a bad situation to be in. The momentum of the week 14 loss will carry over into the Pitt game, short week will add another loss there. We'll be sitting at 7-8 with 1 away game and the division on the line against an up-and-coming Rams team. Division winner will be decided in week 17 as we lose to St. Louis and fall to 7-9 and they win and improve to either 8-8 or 9-7.
