I think harbaugh can mold ostrich in to a high flying bird. His whole career ostrich has had bad trainers, now that he has a good one he has no excuse, time to spread your wings ostrich!

Ostrich can only fly for brief moments before having to stop to lay massive eggs. Ostrich also has small claws.

Then we don't have to worry about Cam getting picked too high by us

I think he really does. He has a better clue than McDRUNK, NoWin and Dingleberry. Those guys were absolute idiots. Hopefully he can find the right one.

McDrunk....he was the guy who was instrumental in bringing in VD, Gore, Smiff, Willis...etc...etc. However...now that I think about it...he also drafted Kentwan Balmer & PASSED UP DESEAN JACKSON!
I wonder how Carr feels about this? Getting paid well for a 3rd string QB if all pans out the way Harbaugh.

I'm wondering the same thing.

If our beat writers weren't so weaksauce, that question would've been answered the day he was hired.

Guessing from how glowing he's been about Alex, one has to assume a first round grade

Why do people assume that if a question is asked to a coach, it's going to be answered and answered honestly? Seriously, if Barrows or Maiocco did ask the question, you'd get nothing more than "I thought he was good" and you're right back where you started.

doubt it. By the way he speaks, I'm guessing second or third round. It's obvious Smith isn't a first rounder.

I'm not doubting Harbaugh's ability to evaluate QB talent...

But I'd like to see the list of QBs he got wrong. He has been around plenty long enough to create a sizable list there too.

I'm gonna eat ya first!

Would be interested to know how he rated Aaron Rodgers also. Rodgers was more 'pro' ready but Smith was more athletic and mobile. They seems to rate equally even with slightly different set of plus and minus. My guess would be they would be first rounder with Harbaugh but in any other year they would be late first to second rounder.
