For years now, I've watch 49er games never more than hoping we would be lucky enough to eek out a victory. Long gone are the days when I turned on a Niner game only to wonder how much we would win by and not if we would win. So when Harbaugh said, "we want to build a bully," I near jumped out of my chair. Oh how I hope the Niners get it right this time, because I'd love to watch a bully on Sunday morning.

This has been one of my all-time favorite signs, ever since Walsh stuck it up in the locker room way back when.

I'm almost starting to feel sorry for teams that have to face our D. Can you imagine? "Damn, we have to play the 9ers Sunday?"

I love boxing and I love analogies. This is a good one.

Before the Packers game, I equated it to a fight with opponents of contrasting styles. If the Niners could drag Green Bay into a brawl, they could win, but if they tried to "outbox" them and get into a technical aerial shootout, they'd lose. I'm not sure I agree with that analogy anymore though.

Offensively, with the quarterback play we saw yesterday, this team can play any kind of game it wants. Conservative, aggressive, or otherwise. With the defense being as dominant as it is and the offensive line developing a strong cohesiveness, this team has only shown the league the tip of the iceberg in terms of its capability.

Scary good is what they're looking like.

Defensive approach but will punch you in the face and force you to react.
