F#$king stud!!

He may sucked at kicking but he always made down the field hits on Kickoff. He was a tough dude. I thought he would have been a better LB than kicker, lol.
I loved when Jose got manhandled by Larry Allen, classic

This is hilarious. Growing up, I never knew the kickers name, much less cared how good he was. How the mighty have fallen.

not sure why Cortez is so hated on

2001

WK1 SF--FG J.Cortez 24, 4:04. OT
WK 3 SF--FG J.Cortez 29, 5:14. 4TH
WK 10 SF--FG J.Cortez 26, 4:41. OT

WK 7 LOST IN OT
MISSED FIELD GOALS -- SF: J.Cortez 44

2002

WK1 SF--FG J.Cortez 36, 14:54. 4TH
WK 9 SF--FG J.Cortez 23, 8:41. OT

WK 11 LOST 20-17
MISSED FIELD GOALS -- SF: J.Cortez 41. SD: S.Christie 44.

While a 9er he had 5 game winning FG and basically blew two games
Cortez wasn't as bad as Pochman. That guy was one of the biggest disasters ever. Cost us a season.
As much as I'd like to say Anderson and Wilkins... Nedney I believe is the most accurate 49ers kicker in franchise history right now, statistically (with a certain number of kicks I believe to qualify). I'm pretty sure they put that stat up this year.

We talkin bout' Kickers?!?! Kickers?!?! Not QB's! Not CB's!! Not OLB!! but Kickers!?!?!

Tie between Wilkens and Nedney. So, I'll give it to Nedney because only he can beat a robot!!!
