I agree with this message!!
Good coaches put in long hours to study film of upcoming opponents in order to identify tendancies, how they will react to formations, down and distance and so forth.
This enables them to put in a good game plan.
Good coaches also put in a lot of hours looking at game film of their own team to not only evaluate indivdual performance but to determine their own tendancies, so as to not become predictable.
Clearly Sing didn't do much of either which is why the 49ers were outcoached every week.
The only reason the team was competitive was due to talent alone.
