I bet Harbaugh has somebody in mind already for sure

I agree, he would kinda have to...we'll see who it is I guess.
Kyle Orton would probably be the best choice if we could get him from Denver. He's been pretty decent with Denver and Chicago. He could be a good temporary solution. I don't want Kevin Kolb, because Philly probably wants too much and a lot of QBs have looked good in Philly under Andy Reid and then looked terrible elsewhere.

Please stop with the Alex Smith talk. It is not in his best interest to resign here and not in the 49ers best interest to resign him. He has been here to long and needs a fresh start with a new team and we need to bring in new QBs. If the CBA gets fixed i would like to trade for Josh Johnson. You could get him for a low draft pick, he has experience starting in the NFL and he has a history with Jim Harbaugh. I don't think he would be our QB of the future but could be a starter while our draft pick learns.

He is an interesting prospect. The problem is that the team really needs someone who is capable of starting next fall. Johnson has only attempted 141 passes in his career. He doesn't have the experience to be the guy the team will need in the fall.

I only disagree with you when you post nonsense, I don't argue just to argue.

I dont care what they say about you, you're a good fan
Ricky Stanzi in the 2nd round.

Go get a player that can immediately handle the reigns while we groom Stanzi. With the first pick get Amukamara (or Peterson if somehow he falls that far).

I do not dislike anyone on these forums, no matter how different our point of views are. I realize that not all people are capable of deep thought, some cannot see the forest for the tree. Some are logical individuals that are able to think without letting their emotions cloud judgment, some have less self discipline and just say the first thing that pops into their mind. What I am saying is that it takes all kinds to make the world turn, and there is room for all of us. We all, after all want the same thing when it comes down to it.

He has had NFL starts, played for Harbaugh and has been learning behind Josh Freeman and we can get him cheap. not going to find that combo anywhere else.
I'm really starting to like stanzi for our new offense!
