I agree that Sing is a retard and the drama is a bit unnecessary, but I don't think our players have given up. Seems like Sing still has em playing hard.

Of all the horribly negative things you can legitimately say about our team, I don't think our players quitting on the season is one of them.

'Showing the door" to Mike Singletary doesnt solve anything until you solve the entire management structure and ownership. Since that is not likely to happen anytime soon, I wouldnt be surprised if current ownership decided to keep Singletary and the entire coaching staff...after all...they are invested in this current staff and they do have a track record for decisions that dont seem to make a lot of sense.

So, this is it...Singletary wants to put what little hope we had left for playoffs (and what's remaining of his job security) on the line with T. Smith, a FA QB we recently signed. I'm not happy nor disappointed, I'm just shocked...shows how little faith he has in A. Smith since he was starter at the beginning of the season.
I don't expect either of them to return next season...good riddance to both!

IF this is true, Singletary just lost the last ounce of credibility he had left. But I'm guessing this 'source' is wrong and Alex starts, honestly starting Nate Davis makes more sense at this point that Troy Smith.

Tom Landry once alternated Roger Staubach and Craig Morton---it worked OK.

atleast with Troy will be entertaning insted of Alex checkdown Smith/getting sacked over and over and over for holding the ball too long . Troy will run and make it fun if we lose good we get top ten pick if we win we are in !

Id bring back Troy to compete for a back up spot next year. He does have some skills and leadership ability.
