WTH? I thought he wasn't going to say anything? Then he announces Troy the starter the very next day?

Is the case of the rat in the organization?

Yes, it's the rat. If you read the article, Sing didn't announce anything. It was a"source with knowledge of the situation".

This rat has been squeeking all season. I hope when Jed cleans house this off season, the rat problem gets fixed too.

I don't think it will because I think HE is the rat.

M. Jonhson said one hour or so ago that he didn't know who the starting QB was. Then 5 min later LaCanfora reports it''s going to be Alex Smith.

And it's JEd who has a direct line with the national media. And have you ever noticed how the national media is always praising him?
there is no facepalm picture great enough to illustration the emotions i'm going through right now.

Now imagine if you were a player on that team. Wouldn't you stop and think, What the Hell is going on?

yea but that may be a credit to the players that even tho they have a HC that to put it lightly should just not be a HC just a motivational speaker they still go out there and play hard week in and week out.

Now, don't you think the HC candidates are gonna give Sing a call and ask him about that?

That may make it harder for us to attract a quality name.

We'll you better hope the Niners lose Sunday, because if they win and then win against the Cards, he's coming back.

To me that's becoming more and more a plausible scenario. After all, in Sing jed has a coach that will put up with everything because, really, he doesn't have nowhere to go to.

I often sit and think what the players do think. He has trained them pretty good to act positive toward the media, and keep quiet. But so many of these guys gotta be scratching their head like WTF. It doesnt really surprise me and its not really official yet but i sort of dont care anymore. I always root for the win but its frustrating with sing at the helm.
Yep. Sing is officially (again) out of ideas. I'm so over this season.

You want Jed to sack Jed?

But didn't he just say Alex is the starter b/c he knows more of the play book giving them a better chance at winning? so what does he say now when asked if Troy has learned and mastered the playbook since his last start 2 games ago.

Don't bother trying to figure this coach out...

Very true. It's just mind boggling and sad.
lol

Like I said before, Singletary and Jed are drinking the Kool-Aid from the same cup.
