I think he got beat around the corner on one sack, and MM says Chilo was responsible for another
/edit/ I believe it was Clemons who beat Davis

him and chilo werent at their best early, but with the defense creating 5 turnovers, we had good field position all game, and Alex was working well with short to intermediate routes.

I saw Clemons beat Davis. He beat him inside after Smith stepped up in the pocket.

I think Alex held the ball too long on that one but that's one of the few times he did that all game long. Only 2 sacks given up and the OL continues to play well. Iupati went out in early 3rd maybe and Snyder came in. Funny how Staley goes out and this OL plays better. Makes me wonder what is up with that?
Sims is 36 or soon will be so it's not like we could move Staley to another position though. I mentioned in the past that worst comes to worst we find another LT and go... LT Iupati, Baas, A Davis, Staley. If we don't want to move Staley we could move A Davis in to RG and find a RT. Still, Davis is really young and is improving. He has fire but needs some work in the off-season. He is learning on the run and it definitely hurt us this year.
