Do you fire singletary if we go 7-9 but make the playoffs?

I would fire him even if we make the Super Bowl. Losing your first six games is just wholly inexcusable. Even for the Lions that's pathetic. I fully respect Singletary as a man, but a good coach he is not. He has shown that on numerous occasions.

He needs to go.
Sing is finished regardless (as it's been speculated via Maiocco's sources), Jed is having private dinners with Jim Harbaugh, the end is near.
Please take us out of our misery, Jed! Get it right this time!
Singletary will be fired unless we win the Superbowl.

If Jim Harbaugh is hired. We are able to draft Andrew Luck
Yes. There is no excuse for us to be 7-9.

And I'd hope so, too. However, if we made it to the NFC Championship, I firmly believe he would not get fired. Using simple logic, I think we can agree that in reality that would probably wind up being the case.
Yes, even if he suited up and had two picks and 15 tackles.
YES!

I feel embarrassed that we are playing in a national telecast on MNF.

I feel kinda the opposite. I'm actually excited. I hope the team turns in a great performance on a national stage to prove to themselves (The team) and us (the fans) and to the rest of the world that we are not the worst team in the NFC west.
