Don't be fooled...

While I'll admit, I am NOT an Alex Smith supporter, and haven't been so for a couple years now, but after being at the game last night, my feelings on Smith have not changed one bit! The kid's gotta go! I am one of the fans that Booed last night, and of all the games I've been to at the Stick, I can tell you, those Boos were the loudest I've ever heard...and rightfully so. Think about it, we've had this kid on the team for 6 years, and he's proven himself to be poor performer time and time again, and honestly after being able to see the whole field, and receivers so many times being open, and Alex, NOT even looking in their direction! I kid you not, even some of those plays that he did get off to a receiver that were double or triple covered, their was usually another receiver wide open! Also, I cannot tell you how many times there were open receivers down field, and Alex looking around wildly decides to throw the check down to Gore! Not to mention even when he was in the shotgun position, he still had some very inaccurate throws. Why did we BOO??? because we've had enough of Alex Smith! for every great play he's ever done he's given us at least 2 horrible! that last play of his should tell all you supporters to stop it already! Alex Smith is NOT a winner! it's been 6 years, he won't get any better. He may have a few good plays here, and there, but for the most part his skills are on par with most back up QB's in the NFL!

Even the announcers kept saying that there were open receivers and he was not throwing to them.

This post isn't really for the defense of the BOOING, but more for the fact that every time Smith does one thing right, despite the fact that he's a total bust, and does more harm to the team then good... supporters come out of nowhere to praise of him, like he's some how gonna blow up, and become a star QB or something!?! I'm just saying, Don't drink the kool-aid!

New leaders and new atmosphere that does not include some of the baggage we carry. It may include even some of the players we have to to love including Frank Gore. He should be the last person with anything to say yet he wants to see Ale remain the starter. Boy Carr must really be terrible or they are just content just being mediocre like they are. We need a fresh new perspective.

Oh really? that's good at least they saw what us fans saw, and were booing at! it happened all night! Smith is terrible. Seriously!

Were you drunk? cause besides the fumle, which was a major mistake, Alex preformed really well. Maybe you spent too much time looking down the field and not in the backfield cause you would have seen the oline not blocking anybody and Alex having to go to hot reads or take a sack. He threw for over 300 yards and had a least 3 drops last night did you see any of those drops? Did you also see how when he did throw deep to Ginn the db was the one making a play instead of our wr. Did you see Gore fumble 2 times after Alex had just picked up a 3rd and long, killing drives. Did you see us run with any ability cause I didn't (zero running game). Did you see on the last play that 2 of our ol got beat bad and Alex got hit as he threw? Take off the beer gogles and maybe you can see the game a little better and please booing your own team makes me sick, its like our fans have turned into crying babies.

don't take much to get folks 'round here all moist in the panties. While I believe he is not the answer for us at QB, he's not the only problem.

yall shouldve booed louder. alex needs to get benched or get the boot. i would prefer the boot, but either will do for now.
