Where do we go from here??? Easy, into football immortality by joining the 2008 Detroit Lions in the Goose Egg Club!!!
Could happen.
Look on the bright side, we get first pick in a draft which most likely will have a rookie salary cap
if that's the case, we need to draft a DB and QB

I'm kinda thinking pray for Smith to tank to get him outta here for good. I know it hurts, but it's a better long term plan.

That's what's frustrating about this team at this moment. Now that Raye's gone, there's no easy solution to fix our main problem (my opinion - QB play). It's obvious is the team felt that Carr or Troy Smith was a better option, they would have to seriously consider making a move. But other than that, what else can they do?
Maybe they promote Nate Davis and give him a shot, I don't know? But as long as they don't feel Carr is the answer, we're stuck with Alex until he starts playing better, if he can.

mike johnson knows smith best. hopefully, he can do something with alex and the playcalling to make it workout. i don't want to just throw in troy or david because we really don't know how those two will pan out. but when is the right time to switch quarterbacks?

i'm surprised that moderators here are kinda lenient, i have been a bit naughty......
Give them a break, they're fans too. They've probably tuned out after todays disappointment.
i don't blame them...
after seeing singletary on the sideline with one knee down and rubbing his forehead, i was feeling his pain!
What you saw there at the end of the game my friend, was a broken man who realized he should of never bought a home and picked up a mortgage in the bay area... He won't be here long of the current status continues.

Sadly, there's nothing that Mike Johnson can do to stop Alex from making poor, poor decisions during the game. How many tipped passes for ints and bad decision making can a team stand before saying we need to go in another direction? Luckily for Alex, there is no one on the roster that's better than him right now, and that goes to show how bad the QB situation is.

you know the media will keep showing clip. i hope the players don't get more discouraged when they see that shot of a broken-down man

All Mike has to do is tell Alex to aim for the receivers knees so when his throw sails it will hit the numbers...
