Wow. I'm sorry.. but wow. If you watch that video and say "oh Smith wasn't doing anything. Davis was just reacting to nothing." You've got to be clueless. You cannot watch that and see Davis' reaction and not easily conclude there was some nasty crap going on there. The video + Davis' comments + Mack's comments may not prove with "absolutes" -- but for anyone who has had to endure nut-pain and knows what that reaction feels like and looks like -- Davis' is spot on with that.

I believe Shaun Smith was trying to draw a penalty, and did in fact do a low-grab. There's a heck of a lot more evidence to say he did than there is to say he didn't..

Exactly. He really should be suspended 1 game, or at least fined heavily.

Did not see a thread about Davis in general so thought I would post here.

Mike Solari is a highly regarded o-line coach so, watching the Chiefs game I had to wonder why he wasn't correcting mistakes that Davis was making.

On three occasions Davis got beat by the same move. The DE would sit back a little on his rush. This would cause Davis to extend his arms and get his upper body out over his feet a little to try and engage. The DE would then swat his arms down (since his body was in front of his feet he would basically end up falling down) and rush around him.

I believe this was the same move that he gave up the three sacks on.

Smith was fined $10k by the league. What a thought provoking deterrent for him. Anyone besides me not convinced about the sincerity of the penalty?

You have 22 men on the field on every play not including the Refs. This could be a precursor to a good ole fashioned WWE nut buster on just about every play.

Davis should have just sucked it up and retalliated by kicking him in the crotch. That's the only deterrent that would get this guy to stop. It's obvious that KC condones that crap or he wouldn't be on the field.

Dude needs a good old fashioned beatin, not a $10k fine that for him amounts to no more than $10.
