The guy is not that big, not that fast, and not that great after the catch, but boy does he believe in himself...hell, he doesn't even have to practice.
I wish the damn raiders had taken crabtree ahead of us so we could've had Oher. What luck.

What I don't understand is, this kid looked so good last year, so how can that be? This isn't making any sense. If he didn't play well last year, then I could understand, but he played very well. So what gives? Also, I don't see any signs of him being or thinking he's a diva since coming to this team. He didn't play in preseason because the staff wouldn't allow him to. So what gives with this kid? What is *really* going on... I mean root cause and not symptoms.

Crabtree is a beast, and is our best receiver since TO..
now what I dont get, is how last year, you can see the offense try and feed Crabtree the ball and get him into a rythem. Whether it was screens, slants, or just a go route (i.e @Packers, his first TD, and that Thursday night 1 handed grab vs the Bears) Where this year, we've only thrown his way maybe 4-5 times a game, and it looks so out of sync with no timing, PLUS atleast 2-3 times vs New Orleans AND Kansas City I saw Alex look Crabtrees way and just look him off and throw the other way.. We gotta feed Crabtreee

it's also not clear WHY there are mistimings with him and Smith. The playbook hasn't changed, so why did it work last year and not this year. It is possible that this is not just about Crabtree running poor routes.

The only real drive we had any success on in KC, Crabtree touched the ball twice and made a few plays. I agree that he should have worked harder and hes been mad rusty the first couple games, but when he gets the ball, crabs has shown flashes. Give him time. Just sayin

Do you guys think the promotion of Mike Johnson will bring out the best in Crabtree?

The root cause is that we have a QB who doesn't throw the ball to his WRs and the few times that he does, he can't place it.

Actually he's pretty big, has got some speed, and pretty amazing after the catch. I'm gonna disagree with you on 3 out of 3 talking points here.
