When Martz coached this Offense, Jason Hill and Josh Morgan looked like solid recievers. Under Raye I beleive larry Fitzgerald would not make the probowl.

doesnt matter who is at QB if Crabtree runs the wrong route or doesnt finish a route.
It matters
ok, so that fumble would be an INT. whats the difference?
Peyton Manning had some guys off the practice squad play in yesturday's game and scored a touchdown. I think a real good QB matters alot he is the point guard of the team who makes them look good if not great. Smith has never had that sorry dude.

You can have the system but without peyton manning they wouldn't have won the super bowl or be in the playoffs you missing the point.

Peyton certainly has a big impact but he is in a league by himself. There is no one else in the league at his level. He may be the best overall QB ever. However, NONE of the 49er receivers would start on that team. Crabtree might make the roster but, based on his play to date, would not start. In fact, I do not honestly believe any other receivers other than Crab would even make that roster - the quality gap is that great!Originally posted by dj43:Originally posted by Norwalks_Best:It also helps to have an offensive system in place that has won a Super Bowl.Originally posted by darkknight49:Originally posted by fly15:Originally posted by darkknight49:Originally posted by Leathaface:

I understand your reason but Davis did well last year under Raye's offense and so did Crabtree. I just find it hard to believe that Smith is the answer at QB and we shall wait and see what new OC Mike Johnson has something creative to spark the offense can't wait and see.

QB matters without question, Ive never heard of pierre garcon or austin collie before last year, brady took the pats to the suberbowl and their best reciever was troy brown, just look at wes welker, hes a star for the pats, but put him on the niners, would he have the same sucess?

Not to mention, Rex Grossman won the colts a superbowl with manning.
