Singletary said Rachal will remain starter at RG when he returns from stinger. But he's not sure Baas will be benched when Heitmann returns.

Hell except for 1 bad snap Baas has played really well at center. He's a more natural C than Guard. He brings more bulk, size and strength to the position and he's been driving people off the ball and he's been a brick wall in the passing game. I don't have any problems with his game.
As for Rachal getting his starting job back...
We should keep him out.

On the bad snap it looked to me like Baas thought Smith would be under center and he snapped it to his rear and lost the grip and the ball went flying.

true but it was also an extremely brutal play, pretty much led to 9 pts

To be fair, a good deal of that had to do with getting plays in with enough time to be certain of having the correct blocking assignments. I don't think it had anything to do with who was at RG.

Good for Baas. I have always liked this guy and felt he was a great RG but then suddenly was moved to LG and now center. He seems to get better and better at center with each game and I agree with what SD said about him. He's still going to make a mistake here and there so be patient. He clearly has the skill set to be a dominant center in this league and esp. with Iupati pulling from the LG spot and Davis developing. Let's hoope Rachal can grow as well and we can finally solidify this line and get a push when needed.
