Well, you will lose faith. This is just Alex Smith, HE IS NOT AN ACCURATE PASSER! NEVER WAS AND NEVER WILL BE. It is something that comes natural or develops for a QB over time. Alex is in his sixth year and the same thing is still happening. It's just him my friend.

As much as I hated how we played today, I have hope that we can play better at home on Monday night. Every team has a bad game(s), and perhaps this is ours. I know Smith did his part to stunk it up, but he didn't give up 31 pts. Our DBs played like sh#t today.

NO WE SHOULD TANK THE SEASON!

I love the 49ers and have for 40 years, but this is not the 49ers any of us deserve. This is a horribly managed and coached team with terrible qb play. Plain and simple. We will play the Saints tough for three quarters, but eventually lose by 10-14 points. Big plays by the Saints will be the difference.

he has to have a pocket to succeed he has to be able to plant his foot down then he always makes a good throw i noticed this last season but it was quite obvious after this game our o line was just pathethic if our o line gets better smith gets better
